Ms. Karah

Ms. Karah has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and modern, and has been teaching dance for over 11 years! She began dancing when she was 6-years-old and hasn't stopped. She performed in Ballet West's Nutcracker at 8 as a buffoon (another version of the bon bons), which really initiated her love of ballet. Ms. Karah danced on competition teams and her high school's dance company, then any chance she got through college - though opportunities were harder to come by as she focused on getting her degree in biomedical engineering. After graduating, Ms. Karah moved to Pittsburgh where she taught dance at Technique by Toni until moving to Flagstaff in 2013. She found DancEvolution for her kids to dance, and was so happy to start teaching with Jesica soon after. She also gets to teach and share her love of engineering as a teacher at BASIS Flagstaff.

Ms. Karah loves the foundations and grace of ballet, rhythms of tap, emotions of contemporary and every other wonderful thing dance offers. It brings her so much joy to dance and to help others find that through teaching.
